As more and more companies established an online presence in the early 2000s, there was a massive influx of web design and development companies, but no way to differentiate one from the other. To help consumers choose, I started topseos.com. Once their online presence was established, they needed traffic, giving rise to a flood of web marketers—creating even more confusion—so I started digitalmarketingagency.com. And so it went on. I’m always trying to anticipate the next big thing that will help consumers find the resources they need—fast.

One opportunity often ignored is dot-com partnerships. Domain ownership has boomed over the years, but most aren’t used the way they should. Some are lying dormant, their owners waiting for a bidder. Others aren’t being marketed to their full potential. I’ll go in and evaluate everything: traffic generated, SEO strategies, manual deindexing, algorithmic penalties, and so on. Once I’ve done my due diligence and know the site’s value, I may either purchase it or go into partnership with the owner. It’s a win-win for both of us.
